Bodytalk is Harrogate's exclusive lingerie, swimwear and night wear shop located on Montpellier Mews. Bodytalk offers a very personal one to one service to all our customers. Bodytalk has built up a fantastic reputation by offering excellent customer service.

Concept design for a 'Brochure' style website

The basic concept for the site was designed by Control Through Pictures.

The client required that we used the existing 'Bodytalk Lingerie Beachwear' logo and branding. The green colour used for the logo was somewhat limiting in the range of colours we could use for the design.

We provided the client with four design mockups from which they selected the chosen design. We then built the site around that design.

The client required a straightforward 'Brochure' style website consisting of a very few pages, displaying a selection of the products available in the Shop and with basic contact details and opening times.

Usability, accessibility, best paractice design heuristics and those items identified in our Top 10 tips section were taken into account to ensure that the final site design would perform appropriately.

The website was constructed to support the primary browsers while implementing best practice presentational techniques to ensure that the pages are lightweight and load rapidly in browsers.

The 'Lingerie' and 'Beachwear' pages

The client required pages that displayed a selection of products available in the shop.

Due to the limited space available it was decided that the pages would only display 6 thumbnails on each and that those thumbnails would automatically refresh to display other products. Consequently it is possible to show many more products in a smaller area.

Contact us section

This page displays a simple 'emailer' form that visitors can use to send an email directly to Bodytalk Lingerie and Beachwear.

The page also displays standard contact details and a Google Map displaying the location of the Bodytalk Lingerie and Beachwear shop.
